Styled Shoot: Winter Wedding Inspiration

I was over the moon to be asked to take part in a styled shoot with a group of women from South Tyneside, who also cater for weddings.

photoshoot11Zoe Overton is the woman behind The Wedding Florist and the shoot took place at her home, as she prepared bouquets, centrepieces and corsages for a winter wedding.

The props were provided by Nicola Edwards, from Clarabells & Bows, who asked me to add my calligraphy to her unique table plans and chalkboards.

Gemma Cain, who is just starting on her business journey, was the lady behind the lens.

photoshoot10Zoe’s home was full of the scents of Christmas, as she was in the midst of holding wreath workshops in her kitchen – I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for those next year!

This was on top of her wedding and Christmas orders, day job and looking after three young children – Wonder Woman would have her work cut out matching her!

Nicola set up her business after styling her own wedding and her collection has grown from the single red cast-iron George VI postbox she started with.

photoshoot9She also runs the fledgling business while working part-time and looking after her daughter, Clara.

Gemma is also a busy mum and we’re all members of The Inspire Network, but it was Nicola who brought us all together and I’m pleased she did.

I look forward to working with these lovely ladies more in the future. And hopefully this won’t be my first involvement in a styled shoot.
