Calligraphy-friendly stationery from Razzle Dazzle Rose

It goes without saying that it’s always good to have something nice to write on when doing calligraphy.

So when my calligrafriends over at Love Calligraphy brought Razzle Dazzle Rose to my attention, I had to check it out.

razzle dazzle 2Established by Sharon Langsdale in 2011, Razzle Dazzle Rose is now one of the leading UK manufacturers of high quality stationery, packaging and presentation products.

The Nottinghamshire-based company designs and manufactures a bespoke range of string-tie envelopes, folders, boxalopes, luggage tags, stickers and presentation boxes.

It also has full in-house printing facilities.

Eco-friendly stationery

Most of its card is sourced from sustainable forests and recycled pulp and is available in a range of colours, weights and textures.

Sharon was kind enough to send me a sample pack of some of its most popular products for calligraphy.

razzle dazzle 1The rather bumper selection included:

  • A6 and A7 recycled postcard blanks in brown kraft
  • A7 recycled postcard blanks in vintage cream fleck.
  • C6 and C7 brown kraft envelopes
  • A C7 brown kraft string-tie envelope
  • A brown kraft luggage tag
  • Placecards in vintage cream fleck, brown kraft with a lavender design and brown kraft and purple with a laser-cut heart.

They arrived in a brown paper packaging tied up with string (well, an A5 kraft presentation folder with wraparound flap with natural twine, to be exact).

Perfect for calligraphy

I dipped into the placecards first, adding the names of the women who took part in my workshop at Captured Keepsakes last month.

razzle dazzle 3I used Dr Ph Martin’s Bleedproof White ink, which always looks great on kraft and worked beautifully with the purple also.

My pointed pen glided over the smooth surface and the cards received lots of compliments.

I’m already thinking of ways to use Razzle Dazzle Rose products in future workshops and I’d be happy to use them for wedding commissions.

There’s an impressive range of products available online, from printed wedding stationery to everything the DIY bride needs to create her own stationery.
